Prizren Cemeteries Pt. 2

I have been told that Fridays are the day that relatives of the deceased will go to the cemetery to bring plastic flowers, clean up the grave site, pay respects, that sort of thing. The cemeteries are on the other side of town, so I've only been out once before (my previous entry). Generally speaking, the Muslim side is in much better repair than is the Christian side. A few pics:
The graves are all facing towards the east, which made it tough to get good photos today, a nice and sunny day.

No fresh flowers adorn any of the graves, they're all the plastic craft-type that one might buy at Ben Franklin's.

Although the cemetery is generally cleaner than other public spaces (like the castle ruins or the river), there are still piles of trash.

Completely unrelated, one high school art class was doing drawings down by the river. I'm not sure why they were there (no one was drawing the river or any of the surrounding buildings), but it was nice to see people out. This guy wouldn't look at me. I think he was trying to strike the pose of an artiste.
