In a few short hours, I'll be on my way to Estonia. I'm giving a presentation on Tuesday at a conference in Narva (from where I'll be able to peer across the river into Russia, even if I won't actually be able to go to Russia). I rearranged my schedule so that I can be gone the entire week, which means I'll have plenty of time to enjoy an Estonian sauna or two or three. I'm taking my computer and camera, and there's free wifi everywhere, so hopefully I'll be able to post pictures during my stay.
It is going to take nearly all day to get there: I leave at 9am on the bus to Skopje, and my flight arrives in Tallinn just shy of midnight. However, every travel minute will be worth it from the moment I step into a sauna.
Happy Saturday!
