One of my favorite places to be in Prizren is on top of the castle looking down over the town. In the 18 months since I've left, the castle has undergone some changes. Most of the brush surrounding the outer walls has been cut down. This gives good views of the city on the walk up, but the lack of shade will probably make the walk much hotter in the warmer months. Several of the walls have had reconstruction work done on them and a few areas on the grounds are being excavated to reveal rooms that had been buried beneath earth. The canon that was up there has been removed, and no one could tell me where it had been moved to.
