I'm in Telavi today, which is in the wine-producing Kakheti region of eastern Georgia. Here are a few things I saw....

Live from the Hotel Old Telavi

My room at the Hotel Old Telavi is well-positioned for a lovely wake-up-view of the Caucasus Mountains. However, it's rather hazy this morning so I have to squint to see them because they just blend into the sky. The top photo shows the view from my room. In the bottom photo you can see that there are actually quite stunning mountains off in the distance.

Telavi, Georgia

Tonight I'm in Telavi, a small town in eastern Georgia. I had the briefest of windows to take a walk around my hotel just after the sun set. I grabbed the point-and-shoot and snapped a few pics.
