My last full day in Copenhagen was beautiful. I celebrated by having a late lunch of smoked halibut and scrambled eggs on a thick slice of buttered rye and a glass of whatever was on tap at Smørrebrød 12. The only other people in the restaurant were what looked to be an 80-ish mother and her 60-ish son. I actually saw the woman through the window on my initial walk-by and she's the reason I went in to eat. I figured if it was good enough for her, I'd like the food, too. In fact, with my Alaskan background and Norwegian heritage, I think I could subsist quite easily on Danish cuisine.
