This morning I went to the farmer's market on California Avenue for the first time in years. Much to my happiness, there were blackberries (3 pints for $8). I've decided to make a pie with them. Mmm-mmm...I love pie. I'm trying out a new graham cracker crust recipe. This one has oats. I've found that the back-of-the-box graham cracker crumb recipes don't hold up well when paired with juicy pie fillings. Hopefully the addition of some oats will deter the sogginess.
