ə (SHH-wa)

A few days ago, my friend Marc sent me this blurb from boingboing, which asks if anyone knows the whereabouts of Bill Barker. I hadn't realized the man had disappeared, but I guess he's now Schwa incognito. I went looking for my Schwa file and came up with an envelope full of random items.

Random items #1: Fall 1993 clippings from the Sagebrush, the University of Nevada student newspaper that used to publish Schwa.

Random item #2: Something I received in the mail from Bill Barker....is it him circa 1963?

Random item #3: My Schwa credit card.

Random item #4: "DEAR K.- WELCOME TO SCHWA! AND THANK YOU!?"

Random item #5: My Alien Invasion Survival Card.

Also in my envelope: postcards, an article Corey Farley wrote (with a note from BB), stickers, a one-page catalog, a luggage tag, and other miscellany.

Oh...Bill Barker....where are you?
