Even though yesterday was the holiday, shops are closed today; the women are still staying home to cook and receive visitors; men are walking around to their relatives' houses to sit and have a cup of tea or a beer; and kids are letting off fireworks in the streets. About 15 minutes ago I heard the pounding of a drum in the street below. When I peeked out the window I saw a group of three Roma kids going from door-to-door. One would knock, one would play the drum, and the other was carrying around a duffle bag.
