My favorite Japanese chain bakery is Andersen. There is an Andersen in Yokogawa Station, which is the station I commute to-and-from, but it doesn't open until 8 am. The other bakery in the station, Vie de France, is open and piping out the hot bread smell when I'm ready to get on the train somewhere in the seven o'clock hour. Still, though, if I'm in need of coffee at this time to accompany my freshly baked bean goodie, I buy it from a VM.
