I'm spending my Sunday noon hour doing laundry at a new and clean laundromat just north of Yokogawa on the Kabe Kaido.

Despite the fact that classes were cancelled and the local Hiroshima trains haven't been running all day, there hasn't been much typhoon action around here. It's been windy, but precipitation has been nil. I am enjoying the cooler temps, though and I'm thinking I might not have to run the a/c tonight.

I haven't posted anything Japan-related in a while. Well, here's dinner for tonight: a bratwurst I bought at Costco with a bit of Kewpie-brand mustard surrounded by a slice off a baguette from Andersen. It's not the healthiest meal, but it does taste good.

My phone is being erratic. It's taking random screen shots like this one that was snapped as I was trying to close my Twitter feed. It also keeps turning itself off. While I'm not too bothered by my phone acting weird and random, I do wonder what kind of ghosts are now inhabiting it.
