I'm three days into a road trip across Arizona and New Mexico. So far, it's been rain & snow: not the best camping weather. Tonight I'm holed up in Farmington, NM in a Rodeway Inn. Free wifi, free continental breakfast, & $5 for the dog. Not bad. So far, we've driven across a large swath of the Navajo nation in eastern Arizona on slick muddy roads; we've been turned away from the 4 Corners monument, which was closed due to something-er-other; and I've eaten my first Navajo taco (Skeena gets none of that). I have a ton of shots on my big camera, but until I unload them onto my computer, the Digital Harinezumi will have to suffice.

Driving across the Dinetah. Not many places to camp. All of the spur roads seemed to have fresh tracks which seemed to indicate that someone's home was up that way (ie. no camping).
The very vermillion Vermillion Cliffs.

Ah yes...the monuments of Monument Valley. Worth the $5 entrance fee.
