I highly, highly, highly recommend Monument Valley, AZ. The views were fantastic.
As an aside, I'd also recommend the camping at the Navajo National Monument. It was free and the bathroom was heated. Heated bathrooms after a cold night (and slightly snowy morning) are a wonderful thing.
