A Little More Astrozub

This morning was a great morning to be up early. Due to the rainy weather (and the wind that's blown it all out) the views were stunning. It doesn't translate too well into a photo from a moving bus, though. The pink clouds and snow-capped mountains were quite a sight to behold, though.

I often see cars with US plates (this one is in Rahovec). Maybe not, like everyday, but American plates are way more common here than Mexican and European plates are in the US. This car must have the US plates on it just for show because cars legitimately plated in the US don't require Kosovo plates.

My tasty cheese roll (kifle me djath, to be more exact). It was okay. The cheese on top is like a feta cheese and the roll itself is a step up from wonderbread (if only because there aren't all those pesky preservatives in it).

The wood stoves in the classrooms at the Astrozub elementary school are used and even though it wasn't too cold outside (we've been having a warm and rainy spell lately), the rooms were toasty warm.

This is a grade seven class with 24 students in attendance today (one absent). They were cute. And sweet.

Huh. Kifle me djath sounds like a translation of a James Bond title...
