I have not received my absentee ballot. I requested one from the Washoe County Registrar of Voters back in August. They processed my request on September 25 and "packaged" my ballot on October 9 (according to their website). I received voter junk mail at my apartment in Prizren, but I have not received my absentee ballot. This will be the first presidential election I've not voted in since I was 18.
I've made the decision not to watch tv today or tomorrow and to avoid as much election hooplah as possible. Everybody is interested in the US elections. I'm glad I'll finally be able to stop trying to explain the electoral college and why the campaign process takes so long.
