My Italian Meal: Part 1

After a full day of trekking all over the place, I decided to take myself out for dinner at a place close to my hotel, an Italian place called Akoan (which is within striking distance of both the APA Hotel Horikawa Dori and Kyoto Station). Of course, it's Japanese-style Italian, which is good, but not exactly Italian. I opted for the dinner course and was first served over-dressed salad, seafood carpaccio, and a tri-dish over-mayonnaised hors d'eouvre. I had to wait a few minutes, with this food sitting in front of me, until I was served something to drink so I could start eating.
