Days Off for K

The semester is over: classes are over and I'll be headed back to Reno soon. Yesterday and today my university is holding entrance exams, so all of the offices are closed. It's nice to have two days off in the middle of the week, but I don't have anything particular to do. Yesterday I priced bikes, went to the bank, and wandered around the city center (with a pretty good lunch stop!). This morning, I was out of the apartment by 6:30am. Destination: Peace Park.

A few months ago, I purchased two "toy cameras," both of which take film (one is a Lomo Fisheye, and the other is a Diana F+, which takes medium-format film). This morning I finally got my butt in gear to take the cameras out for a test drive. (I bought the Digital Harinezumi at the same time, and, honestly, it's the only camera I want to use at the moment!) I wanted to get some early morning shots in the park, but the light ended up being not so great; regardless, I fired off two rolls (one for each camera). I dropped the film off at a developer, and I can pick up the prints and a disk later today. We'll see how well the cameras produce.

I promise to post!
