Suddenly, there are Kosovar, Albanian, American, German, and Turkish flags everywhere.
Flags are flying. Schools are out. Stages are being constructed. Vendors are selling souvenirs. All in preparation for tomorrow, when Kosovo celebrates its first year as an independent country. I'm not sure exactly what to expect. Likely the streets will be full with people singing and laughing and cheering and marching. I'm looking forward to it.
A flag vendor seems to have folk lined up for purchases.
