Snow & Lasagne

Man...it was 70 F late last week...skies were blue, the air was thick with pollen, I was starting to think about buying a vehicle with air conditioning (Ken's black truck in 90+ heat isn't very comfortable, even if it is a dry heat)...and this morning there's snow. It's not sticking, and it probably won't, but nevertheless there is snow wisping through the air.

Luckily, I'm hosting a potluck dinner & slide show tonight. The main dish: butternut squash lasagne with pine nuts. I made the exact same thing for another dinner party I had last week and it was such a hit, I'm making it again. I found the recipe on www.epicurious.com (for the original recipe click here). A chilly, snowy, fall-like day is the perfect kind of day for an autumn recipe.
