The Longest Day

This morning I woke up at 7 am. I took out the garbage. I went to the gym. I went home and did a bunch of laundry. I walked down to the nearest convenience store and bought a nikuman (a steamed roll with meat inside...kinda like a jelly doughnut but not with jelly and not in a doughnut). I cleaned my apartment. I packed my carry-on bag and went to the airport. I checked in and ate dinner. I boarded the plane and flew across the Pacific (note to frequent flyers: this time I requested the fruit plate instead of the vegetarian meal and was way happier with the food I ate). I drifted through customs in a daze and took an hour-long nap in San Francisco. I flew to Reno. I met our new dog. I came home and sorted through my mail. Ken made me a quesadilla and I unpacked a bit. I took a shower. I played with the dog and checked my email.

It's only 5:30 pm.
