I thought I'd be able to spend a quiet Saturday evening at home. Alas, I've been roped into going out tonight. Read the excerpt about the place we're going:
"We can offer two pieces of advice for foreigners venturing into Alcatraz ER: Bring a Japanese friend, because there’s no English to be seen or heard; and make sure that friend is a good one, because the two of you will be handcuffed together at the entrance. And that’s just the start of the wild ride at Alcatraz ER. Patrons are next led to one of several seating areas, which include prison-like cells and a creepy X-Ray room. Those actually in need of medical attention, however, would be advised to stay away. If the floor show, in which (un)lucky drinkers are snatched from their seats to participate in ghoulish medical experiments, doesn’t raise your blood pressure, the handsome young doctors and pretty young nurses on call will. The food is standard izakaya fare, albeit with blood-curdling names like Russian Roulette and the Rentogen Roll, while some cocktails are served in plasma bags."
My first question after reading that was what do I do with the person I'm handcuffed to when I have to pee? And just take a look at the menu (what I really mean is just look at the pictures cos it's in Japanese). http://www.hy-japan.com/alcatraz/food.html

Oh Kirsten, it looks a bit sketchy. How was it? Should we visit it when I come to see you? Is there anything you need from Kumamoto? See you soon!
Cheers
